Step 5. Create Resources

Resources are user accounts under which users can log on to the database. While adding a resource to the resource list, you can input user’s job title, department, address, email, and phone; however, user name and password are enough to let user log on and start working in the database. 







To create a resource
1. On the Resource List tab, click New Resource.











2. In the New Resource dialog box, type user name in the Name box and password the Password box, and then click OK.






























3. In the Confirm message box, click Yes to create a task group that only this resource can see.











Note The new resource name appears in the User box of the Login dialog box …











… however, new resource can see only personal task group …











… because by default a new resource doesn’t have appropriate permissions to see other task groups.
