Step 4. Create Task Groups

You can use Task Groups to structure tasks in your database the same way you organize work in your company. For example, you can name task groups after your company departments, projects, or clients. Otherwise, you can think of task groups as folders into which you put tasks that have something in common.

To create a task group

1. On the Task List - Groups pane, click New Group.

2. In the New Folder dialog box, in the Name box, type the name of the task group, and then click OK.

Note To create a new subgroup of a group, click this group, and then click New Group (or right-click this group, and then click New).

Note All task groups created on the Task List - Groups pane automatically appear on the Task Tree tab.
